Univeral Alert Script (UAS) for Splunk

 

No need to write/maintain scripts for each alert, or group of alerts...

 

A single script which:

• Sends alerts via any/all industry standard and/or 3rd party systems. Currently:

  • SYSLOG, EMAIL, SMS, OPSGENIE, PAGERDUTY

  • 3rd party systems with standard APIs are easily integrated by the developer

• Sends configurable/standardized content from alert arguments and/or search results

• Allows the user to customize the content and destination(s) for each alert

• Can be duplicated and use different configurations for each instance

• Logs all of its activity so that alert generation is audit-able

• Can run locally on the Splunk search head or on another server to offload processing

 

UAS is available either as a purchase or through a professional services agreement

• Sales price for a lifetime, unlimited license:  $2000.00

• Professional services agreement between Burilliance and your enterprise for no less than two weeks at $5000/wk will include the lifetime, unlimited license.  The professional services will provide:

  • Integration workshop

  • Installation of UAS

  • Configuration of up to 5 instances of UAS

  • Testing UAS to ensure alert methods are working correctly

  • Integration of existing/new alerts with UAS and validation

  • Development of additional integration (if required and via simple REST API)
